Outside Hope, early morning.

We enjoyed the Harbor in Homer, AK...

...but we were really impressed by the local bar. Evidently the money tacked to the walls is an old sailor's tradition - you'd leave some money with your name on it so you'd be able to drink the next time you're in town. I don't have a good explanation for why some folks seem to have left their bras behind.

An orthodox chapel in Kenai. Many native Alaskans are members of the Orthodox church, the legacy of Russia's long presence in Alaska.

We really dug Seward, a town of funky stores, including this coffeehouse in an old church...

...and some lovely beaches.
